espresso machine damaged by vinegar?
March 31st, 2009 | by admin |merle walters asked:
Our espresso machine was cleaned with white wine vinegar(rather than plain white vinegar)and now it barely sputters to a finish, even after twenty minutes.I’m afraid the sugars in the wine vinegar gunked up the machine internals. Is there any validity to this worry and,if so,is there any way to remedy this?
update:I couldn’t find a specific cleaner so I just used 1 part white vinegar to 6 parts distilled water, and that worked perfectly. The machine is now running as before. Thanks for your help.

try re-cleaning it with white vinegar. and be sure to flush it several times with plain water afterwards. If this doesnt help…………. Good luck.
