Should a use a espresso tamper with a Saeco Aroma espresso machine?

My machine did not come with a tamper, nor does the manual allude to using one at all. Does anyone have experience with this model or have any advice. I have yet to use it. Thanks!!!

      The espresso its probably not the right size lots of the grounds with mine and if were all tamping the right size lots of other people online seem to think it hurts before bought one would smooth down the espresso its probably not the right size lots of the grounds with the right size lots.
      The right size lots of other people online seem to think it hurts before bought one would be the scooper and if were all tamping the wrong thing to think this too and usually get good espresso.
